Crenuchus spilurus, the Sailfin tetra, is a species belonging to the South American darter family, Crenuchidae, that is found in the South American countries of Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname and Venezuela. It is the only member of its genus.
